Import ThinkOrSwim trades into your journal

ThinkOrSwim exports an Account Statement CSV with several sections. Import the trade history rows into TradeJournal.dev for FIFO positions and full analytics.

    Open the Account Statement

    In ThinkOrSwim, go to the Monitor tab → Account Statement.

    Export to file

    Set the date range, then use the export/save option to download the statement CSV.

    Keep only the trade history

    The statement has several sections. Copy the Account Trade History section (with its header row) into its own CSV, or paste it into the importer's text box.

    Upload to TradeJournal.dev

    Sign in (free), open Trades → Add trades, and drop the CSV. Check the column mapping in the preview (date, time, symbol, side, quantity, price, commission), then import. Rows already in your account are skipped, so re-importing an overlapping range is safe.

TOS is now part of Schwab; the Account Statement export still works as the trade-history source. Stocks and ETFs only for now: option rows are not imported. As of 2026.
